What's the role?

The position of Industry Regional Segment Manager is to be an expert for the respective sub segments (Industry Know how, market participants, competitors, application development, technologies, trends, fact base, etc) and develop business plans as part of the strategy with respective MO and business partners.

What does the role involve?

Develop business plans for the Industry sub segments with the respective MO’s / business partners
Develop a market development plan for the respective geographical area of responsibility
Build up relationship and cooperation with MO’s / business partners to support and drive implementation of business and market development plans
Actively manage and steer the area of responsibility (geography / segment) towards defined targets (net sales, profitability) based on a transparent and accurate reporting
Ensure development and implementation of capture plan methodology for the defined customer projects
Deliver GPM (Global Project Management) support according to requirements, e.g. defined in the capture plans
Be the E&I Marketing / BU interface to ensure PLS activities according to the roadmap
Ensure the development of application / project references for the area of responsibility (geography / segment) in order to drive experience exchange and competence build-up
Update of the fact base (HRP, segmentation, key applications, stakeholders etc.) according the required cycles

What you need is:

  • University degree (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering)
  • Significant relevant Business experience in the Industrial field or international Hilti Sales/Business Development experience (especially Key Account / large project business)
  • Master / MBA degree
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Fluency in two languages, including English
  • Global mindset
  • Willingness to regular business travels
  • Mobility for a subsequent development
  • Understand the fields of Industry (especially Automotive, Pharma, Electronics, Telecom), it’s market participants and interaction of involved stakeholders (especially for large and/or international project business)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Mobility for a subsequent development must be given
  • Willingness to regular business travels
  • Significant relevant Business experience in the Energy industry field or international Sales/Business Development experience (especially Key Account / large project business)
