What's the role?
The position of Project Management Office Engineer is responsible on the design of applications up to a medium complexity based on Hilti modular support systems (BU Ins portfolio) based on Hilti proprietary software suite “PROFIS installation” and under guidance of a PMO Engineer supervisor.

What does the role involve?
Engineer and design complete applications based on Hilti modular support systems (BU INS portfolio) and related products such as anchors or direct fastening solutions.
Basic engineering of anchor or direct fastening solutions
Provide bill of materials to other Hilti functions (e.g. supply chain) for further processing
Engineering of low to medium complexity applications as support engineer based on Hilti modular support systems (BU INS portfolio) using Hilti proprietary software (PROFIS Installation suite).
Derive bill of materials from design work and provide it to other Hilti departments (e.g. supply chain)
Design of modular support solutions in AutoCAD (2D/3D) (potentially also in Revit or plant design software)
Basic engineering of anchor or direct fastening solutions using either the Hilti proprietary software suite “PROFIS” or the technical fastening manual.
Write engineering reports (calculation notes) for designed applications
Collaborate on project execution with different Hilti departments such as sales, global logistics or finance within own market organization or across countries.
Ensure the adherence to relevant codes and Hilti standards in project engineering.
Safe and Hilti rules compliant engineering of defined applications.
Basic value engineering (combining technical – commercial – logistics aspects) for defined applications.

What you need is:
- Basic degree in structural / civil engineering, min. 2 years of experience
- AutoCAD know how
- Know how in usage of structural engineering software (R-Stab, SAP2000, ….)
- Know how about plant design software (SmartPlant 3D or PDMS) or BIM
- Structural / civil engineering background
- Good understanding of structural model building
- Spanish and English are a must, Portuguese is a Plus
